Project Scope

The design, installation and commissioning of the ICP network connection and the balance of plant customer 11kV network to enable 1068kW PV solar farm to export power from the Loudham site in Suffolk. This project included the DNO infrastructure, a DNO substation and the customer transformer and LV distribution board within a GRP combined customer & UKPN network substation building.

Our Solution

Design of the DNO point of connection infrastructure
Design of the customer network
Provision of the harmonic, P28 and earthing studies. Installed and commissioned the DNO & Customer Switchgear Testing & Commissioning the protection including the generation G59 system.

All cable jointing was carried out by MES Jointing teams Install the auxiliary wiring and earthing system for the substation.
