We are currently seeking to recruit electricians for the role of Jointers Mate. This position is ideally suited for individuals with a background in electrical work who are eager to develop their skills and pursue a career as a cable jointer. The successful candidates will have a fervent passion for learning new skills, with a keen eye for detail. Effective communication skills, punctuality, and the ability to work well within a team are essential qualities for this role. Some experience with high voltage (HV) systems would be advantageous.

As a Jointers Mate, you will be required to assist in the installation of electrical equipment at various sites throughout the UK. Therefore, at least 2 years of electrical site experience and a full driving licence are mandatory.

• Attention to Detail: Meticulously review pre-job briefs and ask questions to comprehensively understand the tasks at hand.
• Understanding Work Orders: Read and comprehend Instructions, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments effectively.
• Risk Assessment: Conduct appropriate risk assessments before undertaking any work to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Tool Selection: Choose the right tools and equipment for the job and ensure that they are in good working order before and after use.
• Client Communication: Communicate clearly and effectively with clients to keep them informed of progress and resolve any site issues promptly.

Experience

Ideally, candidates must possess the following experience:

• A minimum of 2 years working as an electrician or as a mate.
• Experience in industrial and commercial electrical environments.

Qualifications

The ideal candidates must have the following qualifications:

• A valid CSCS Card.
• A full and clean driving licence.
• Proficiency in working both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong customer care skills, as the role involves direct interaction with clients.
• Ability to complete jobs on time and to a high standard.
